Why we start with a plan
Most interior painting goes like this: you collect a handful of chips, tape them up, change your mind twice, pick something, and hope. The painter arrives, rolls it on, and sometimes it's lovely. Sometimes the "warm gray" turns lavender in your north-facing bedroom, the trim color fights the floors, and you're living with a decision that cost thousands to make.
The Paint Plan flips that order. A designer looks at your whole home first — the light in each room, the fixed finishes you're not changing, how the rooms connect — and designs a palette that works together. You see it on photos of your actual rooms and on your actual walls. Then we give you a fixed price to paint exactly that plan. You decide with full information, and the price doesn't move.
What's included
60-minute walkthrough
We walk every room with you, talk about how you use it, what you love and what bothers you, and look at floors, counters, furniture and art that need to coordinate.
Matterport 3D scan
A full 3D capture of your home. It lets us design and measure accurately back at the studio — and you get a link to share or keep.
Measured floor plan
A clean floor plan generated from the scan, with each room labeled. It becomes the map for your color plan.
Room-by-room color plan
Every surface specified: wall color, trim, ceilings, doors, sheen for each, and any accent walls — with brand, color name and code.
Mockups on your rooms
We render the proposed colors onto photos of your own rooms, so you're judging the real space, not a magazine image.
Swatches on your walls
Large sample swatches placed in each key room so you can watch them through a full day of Colorado light.
Fixed-price paint quote
A firm price calculated from measured wall, ceiling and trim area, with prep, materials and days on site spelled out.
How the timeline works
- Day 0 — Walkthrough. About 60 minutes at your home. We scan, measure and talk.
- Days 1–4 — Design. Our designer builds your palette, prepares mockups and calculates your quote from measured surfaces.
- Day 5 — Delivery. You receive the plan and quote, and we place swatches on your walls.
- Your call. Book the paint job and the $499 comes off, or keep the plan and use it however you like.

Who it's for
Homeowners who want their home to feel finished and cohesive, not painted one room at a time over a decade. It's especially useful in open floor plans, older homes with lots of trim, and houses with tricky light — which describes a lot of homes in the foothills. See how this plays out in Golden, Evergreen and Lakewood.
Sellers and agents who need fast, buyer-friendly decisions. We streamline the plan toward proven neutrals and get you a quote quickly, and the 3D scan can double as a listing tour. Read more about pre-listing painting.
